What's the cheapest site to get snow tires...Because it is unacceptable that I get stuck on flat surfaces and shoot across someones lawn at 25mph....If the cops ask though, it was not me....

Go to Wal-Mart or Costco. Websites will charge shipping.

I find Winterforce to do the trick as far as being pretty cheap and also pretty good in snow. Used them on everything from an Aerostar to a 3 series and even tried them on a FWD car. No major complaints, except proper alignment is very important because of the tread pattern. But your car should have good bushings and alignment no matter what tires, these just seem a tad more sensitive to uneven wear if things are out of wack.

Yep. You want cheap winter tires go for a big box store. If you have steel wheels you should be able to mount them yourself and go get them balanced.

They don't come in my size :(

I had those on my corolla and loved them.

I have a 225 40 18

And there is not much smaller I can do,....Both rim size and in tire size.

The smallest rim I can fit is a 17 and it just barely clears my brakes.

Walmart has NOTHING in my size -.-

225 40 18

And the issue is I can't put a smaller rim on my car, the brakes are too large and 17s clear, but I need such a weird offset that it is impossible...

year make model?

edit: The cheapest tire in that size is a Dunlop Winter Maxx or Bridgestone Blizzak at around $160. This is what you get for big wheels - expensive tires. Not saying that you did, but a lot of people forget this factor when buying a car.

That's a shame. So much for my go-to solution.

I'm potentially just gonna get some Arctic Claws for 90 a piece. Just gotta get the money, I work at a shop so mounting and balancing are free.

And I aligned the car a week or so ago haha

The smallest you can run are 17" wheels and the cost of those PLUS winter tires is way more than getting the $160 Blizzaks/Dunlops. Have you tried the local Craigslist for wheels/tires? Even Ebay might have some deals.

Locally IO can get them 90$ a piece.

I'm gonna call the guy tomorrow and see what he can do, and when I can get them
